Hangs year round in My Dining Room/ Studio

{I eat in front of the TV ~ it's Just Me so why do I need a Dining Room}

About 8 years ago, as a Single Mom with 3 kids, I felt bad that I was Not able to

give as much to My Kids as usual that year.....

But that Christmas I knew

I had taught My Children Well.....

This was the Gift My Children gave to Me

This Beautiful Print of Santa

that is called

"The Spirit of Christmas"

it by far is the Greatest Gift for it's Meaning to Me

I will have the Spirit of Christmas in My Heart Forever

So now that I am starting to feel alittle better from last weeks

works it's Magic on Me once again....

I'll be going to my Sister's Home..... She took over the tradition after Our Parents were both gone.....

It will be wonderful to be together with Both Our Family to Celebrate.....

I will be enjoying the festivities in a very mild manner & with only tasting a few morsels, I am still feeling pretty yucky & looking forward to getting back my strength

I am not sure why this is taking so much out of me....

at Least I am Very Thankful the Pain is Gone~

Just Alittle .....

Under The Weather

During this Thanksgiving week, I am not feeling so well.... I will be taking it easy & resting a Bit

I Am Thankful for My daughters who insisted & Dragged Me to the Hospital Emergency Unit on

Saturday night.....

I had been in alot of pain for 2 days at that point, but with No Medical Insurance, I was so

afraid that I would be turned away at the door....

This was not the case, I ended up spending the next 11 hours being

poked & wheeled from one test to the next.....

I have a Bad Gall Bladder ~ which Needs to come out,

Now just to figure all that out....

I do feel alittle better, I think knowing that the Chest pains were Are Not My Heart relived me some

again

I am Very Thankful to My Kids for Dragging Me there,

Kicking & Screaming

(ok, not screaming, but certainly Crying)

so I am taking a few days off from blogging,

What a Mess

What a Mess I Have.......

When I had my 3 Grands over night 2 weeks ago, I thought I would really Kid Proof the place

So, I took & just piled "Stuff" in boxes & bins to place in My Large storage closet.....

Now this is when I need to Back Up & Tell You WHY... While My Grands Love to Create & are

Very Good at Listening, Helping to clean up & put Stuff away

Mem (6) is Creative & Loves to spend time with her Bubbie.... it so reminds me or My Grandma, whom I Credit for All of My Creative Thoughts Today.... Eme (2) also loves to color, but that is about all I let her get into.... Now into the mix we add the Newest Member Mill (2 Months)

This was the Very First Time, I was going to have Charge Over All of them at My Little Place (about 700 sq ft.) for the Entire Night

I thought it would be much easier for ME to have all the Fun, Tempting, Creative "Stuff"

Out of Sight ~ Out of Mind (we still had movies, games & toys)

So this is Why the Stuff ended up being Stored....

Now comes time to Pull it All back out What I was hoping to be a productive weekend

Re-Organizing & Creating Turned into a On Call Care Day & a Lazy Sunday

I Must, I Must, I Must get into this pile starting early tomorrow morning.....

I Promise I will post an Updated photo on the Improvements ~ Soon

Today November 10th ~ Should have been the day I was

My 30th Wedding Anniversary

It was 13 years ago this week, that I Filed for Divorce.....

{Yes, I filed the Week of Our 17th Anniversary}

after finally opening my eyes to see that My Best Friend & Hubby

were Far Greater Friends, Than Any Buds Should Be.....

This Post is Not about that....

I am Thankful for being Married to Him for the years we were

Married.... They were Not easy years at all,

I want to Celebrate What came from this Broken Union

I Have 3 Wonderful Children

Whom I am So Proud of & Love More than any Mom Can ever imagine...

3 Precious Grand Children, Who really are My Heart

Life was difficult ~ as a Single Mom for many years, we struggled,

Now..... I'm ready for Christmas

Go See This Movie~

I was so excited to go & see it on the weekend that it came out,

if it's a Christmas Movie, I Needed to see it & that I Did.....

it was the 1st 3D movie that I have ever seen,

took a moment to get use to

I Loved it !

The other wonderful thing that happened, 2 of the Local Radio stations started to Play

Christmas Music.... soon it will be 24/7 Christmas Music

Eye 4 an Eye

As I age the Eye sight continues to lessen..... I use to be able to paint the Eyes After the Santa was finished..... Not any more, even with cheater glasses & bright light, either the hand is not as steady or the Eye sight blurred..... I thought I would purchase Doll/Santa Eyes, but after the shock of the price.... I had to Make Them Myself ~ I've been doing trial & error sampling over the past few weeks..... I think I found the right combination ~ What Do You Think?????

(remember, alot of the eye will be covered up by the time it is placed in Face)
