Celebrating What Was ~ 1979 - 1997

Does it seem Strange to be thinking about
What Was, But is No Longer?
1979 - 1997

Today November 10th ~ Should have been the day I was
Celebrating
My 30th Wedding Anniversary

It was 13 years ago this week, that I Filed for Divorce.....
{Yes, I filed the Week of Our 17th Anniversary}

after finally opening my eyes to see that My Best Friend & Hubby
were Far Greater Friends, Than Any Buds Should Be.....

This Post is Not about that....

I am Thankful for being Married to Him for the years we were
Married.... They were Not easy years at all,

I want to Celebrate What came from this Broken Union

I Have 3 Wonderful Children

28- 26- 21
Whom I am So Proud of & Love More than any Mom Can ever imagine...
&
3 Precious Grand Children, Who really are My Heart
6- 2 - 2 months

Life was difficult ~ as a Single Mom for many years, we struggled,
But
Survived We Did, I Did
&
I am Grateful For It All!

So I am Not thinking of this Post as

"Airing My Dirty Laundry"

I am Celebrating a Life worth Celebrating,

The Fears, The Tears & Now The Memories....

so I leave You with a Photo from My Wedding
November 10, 1979

that little girl in the photo is My Sweet Niece Jenny
who is now a Beautiful Mom of 5 children

God Bless Us All

  1. I've never been married, so I've never been divorced either but it's nice to see someone looking at the positive aspects of things.
