Welcome
2010
I have been thinking this past week
about
New Year Resolutions.....
How many of Us make them & fall short
within a few days, weeks or months.....
instead of a Resolution that I Never
stick to, I have chosen a Word to Live By....
"Nourish"
For My Body, Mind & Spirit
Just so this does'nt seem too Self indulgent,
let me tell you why I came up with this
particular Word
I'm a Caregiver anyway you look at it,
by Profession & by Heart....
I really would give My very last Anything to Anyone
and still be wishing I could give More, I guess, Not a Bad thing .....
For So Long, My Kids (who are all Grown & Live
on their own) have been wanting Me to do
More for Myself, But Most of All ~ Take Better Care of Myself~
"Nourish"
To be totally Honest, for many reasons ~
I Have Not taken very good care of Myself for a Long Time
I may be a Good Mom & Bubbie
but, I am Not a Very Good Friend
to
Myself~
"Nourish"
I decided with My Head & My Heart,
that I need to start taking care of ME ~
Being sick before Thanksgiving, Really Made Me Think ~
Life is Short & Oh, So Precious....
So for 2010
I am going to take the Time to Shop & Cook Healthy Food,
Time for Exercise, Time for Life & Leisure
& Extra Time for Creating.....
"Nourish"
How can We Help Others, if We don't first Take Care of
Ourselves
Self Indulgent, Maybe ~ Needed, Indeed!
"Nourish"
So Wishing All of You a Very
Happy New Year
&
Please take the Time to
Nourish Your Life ~
