Meet Angie's Afghans

I had such a nice visit with
my sweet friend
Angie today,
my daughter Nikki & I drove out for a lunch
time visit....

I told her I was going to help
sell some of her wonderful
Afghans & she lite up with a
smile on her face....

I have been a care giver for
Angie for about 8 years now,
she has Alzheimer's

Crocheting is her life,  I worry about
the days when she is not crocheting....
it truly is a form of therapy,
the color combos are not the best,
but for 79 & going on 9 years of
having this disease,  I think she is
Amazing....

as you can see,  the Yarn Cubby
is almost bare, but the fruit of her
hands is overflowing...

with each afghan that sells,
I will be going to Walmart to
purchase her favorite yarn
Red Heart
see the simple color cards on the bins,
this helps her to recognize the colors
as her sense of color is going....

{that's the joy of her Colorful Afghans}
