A Vintage White Wednesday

My Grandma's old China Set
Very Fragile, I have a few cups too, but wasn't sure
where they were.....
This Sweet little Doll was My Mom's
she would have been 7 years old

1933

Home for a Day or 2 .....

I'm Home again ~ but only for a day or 2
then Back to work.....


I am happy that my 2 scheduled post ~ Posted..... Jo, don't think I was up at 6:20am when one of my post ~ Posted, I must have scheduled it Early.... I have been Away working & that means staying 24 hours a day.....


I have been away from Home ( if you don't know from My Blog, I am a On Call Care Giver for a Sweet Lady with Alzheimers) normally I just work a few days each week, but this time Hubby of Sweet Lady had to go on 2 Out of Town Trips so I am staying 24 hours for 10 days.... Luckily, He had an early arrival today, so I was actually able to come home till he leaves again on
Friday..... I am very Happy to be able to catch up on all My FB & Blogging fun, I have SO Missed (not able to access internet while gone)

From My last 2 posts, I think you can tell that I was Very Happy that the Snow WAS Melting.... well, Monday we got hit with another 8 inches ~

I took my camera with Me while
dragging the Trash out Monday night
after dark
Love how the photos came out
right at the gates, looking at the house
that is actually 8" of the White Stuff
Indoor pool, I heated the Hot tub
(corner left)
& relaxed after doing alittle shoveling
from the sliding door of Pool room
yes, They have their own Tennis Court

looking out the front window thur the screen
straight ahead is the gate entrance to the drive

The snow covered Corn box....
They Feed the Deer

very empty feeders, I did not bring My boots
so the suet cakes is all the poor birds had
Animal tracks
they have Fox, Deer & I have even
seen a Coyote before

Looking Forward to.....

The Beauty of the Bloom

this is only the 2nd time in 3 years
that this Orchid is in Bud.....
earlier this winter, I almost tossed out this Orchid
There did not seem to be any roots what so ever on it
not like the Orchid to the left of it with Tons of air roots.....
but I am so Happy I left Her Be~

both of these Orchids are planted in a Flower Pot that was
My Great Grand Mothers.....
She brought this with Her from Norway when they came over
in 1903.....

Certainly A White Wednesday

Taken at 2:00 am ~ It seemed so bright out
Love the Glowing SnowFlakes

My Sweet Vintage Patio set ~ will be ready for Spring when the Snow Goes
The Snow is still coming down
It seemed almost as bright in the middle of the night
Big difference from Monday's Sunny Day
But they called this one right
My Sweet Little Memphys
has her first Snow Day of the Year.....

well, at one point I do need to get out & shovel a little bit
I actually only have to do My Stairway & porch area,
The Downstairs Dwellers, do everything else
(remember I live in an upper flat)

Looking Forward to Spring.....

Next week, I promise some Vintage White ~ Not Snow
