  3. Have you got a good eye! I probably would have passed it up not seeing the potential. I love fixing things up like this. Since I'm into white so much lately, I'd be tempted to paint it white and then sand down the edges a little. You might even find some cool old knobs for it. How about painting some roses on it or using some vinatge decals.
    Have fun!

  4. At first I thought it read $300.00!! yikes!
so I went back and re-read...$3.00. Wow, you found a GREAT deal!
I'd sand it, and paint it white...but that's me.
Make sure to show us after you decide what to do with it.
    Have a great night!

  8. I thought you said $300.00 LOL...and I thought-BOY they saw her coming. And then I went back and RE-read it was $3. Great find. Whassa matter? You don't like woodgrain contact paper? Seriously? And here I was just about to do all my bathroom walls with it!;>)

At first I thought it was big chest of drawers but now I see it is smaller. If you (or anyone you know) is into scrapbooking this would make a fabulous piece to store papers and scissors and all that stuff in. Love it. It would be pretty in white or even in a blue all distressed and lovely...or the drawers lined with beautiful paper and you could use it to hold hankies and lace...oh..loving it more by the minute!

Can't wait to see what you do with it! Hugs-Diana

  12. Great score! If it still has sticky on it from the contact paper then I would probably paint it just because I don't know how you would ever get rid of the sticky. How in the WORLD did you manage to coax off that contact paper????

  13. Gotta love contact paper!!! What a job tearing that stuff off. I am with everyone else, try to get the rest of the sticky off and paint away! That is a great find, just think of all of the treasures you can fill it with! Lets hope the weather man is right and we get the cooler temps they are calling for. Happy Thursday! t. oxoxo

  14. Thought I would fill you all in regarding the Stickiness of the contact paper, I think because it is in the mid 90's up here in my little place, the contact paper was soft enough to tear off, it actually came off easier than I thought.... I did give it one good wash with an all purpose cleaner, but still a bit tacky, will buy some vinegar and see if that works, before I paint~ still haven't decided if I will Keep or put in My Etsy Shop...... Hope to hit a few more yard sales tomorrow, if the weather cools a bit~

  17. The finish and knobs look great the way they are. The unfinished drawers would look great with some pretty paper or vintage fabric or velvet. Yes, let us know if it ends up in your etsy store! Oh, the things I could store in there.....
