A Clean up Tip for Today...

The Corn Meal in my house
is Not for baking or cooking
of any kind....

It happens to be
My Favorite
Tip for
Cleaning up
Messy, Paint filled, Glue Filled
Hands

I keep it in the Handy
Cheese shaker next to the sink

When my hands need that Extra
scrub, I just wet with water
&
sprinkle on the
Corn Meal
extra power with a bit of dish soap

My hands always come out clean & so soft

I actually use it several times a week for my face,
not many wrinkles for almost 55

  1. A face rub! Never would have thought of that! I should just even wash my face once a week :)

Oooo sprouts on your sandwiches....that is just what I am missing Cheryl!

  2. If you wonder why your husband keeps licking your face in his sleep I think I have figured out why!;>) LOL- I swear those old "recipes" are the best! I use olive oil for removing my makeup (which isn't much-a bit of powder/blush & lipstick) and it leaves my skin feeling like silk. I am discovering more wrinkles though now that I have turned 60! It was like...turning a page! xo Diana

  6. OMG this is so funny! I used to have cornmeal in a cheese shaker too...for my face. I'm more hardcore now, I use foot scrub with pumice instead :)

  7. Now this is one tip I haven't heard of before. I would have a hard time using it for cleaning though as I love cornbread so much and it isn't always easy to find cornmeal in this country. :/ Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
