Where Bloggers Create & My Messy Studio

I sure had planned on really
having some Fabulous Photos,
All Neat, Clean
&
Very Organized

Then after 3 days this week of
having My Grands over for Crafting
and helping My Daughter
make a few Birthday gifts
for Her 1 year Old
God Twins
Birthday Party tomorrow,
{She Created the Cutest
Puppy Dogs for them, I sure wish
we would have taken Photos}
It Just wasn't Happening

These Messy, Un Organized Studio
Pics
Are What You Get....

I guess we can't all be perfect or On time,
My Studio is Well Used & Rarely Clean,
but,
Full of Sun Light...

since it is just Me & My Cat, I guess it
doesn't matter if it is Messy

I didn't show a few corners, since I dumped
a bunch of "Stuff" that had been piled on
the Table...
&
you won't see too much of the carpet,
I guess I Forgot to Vacuum Too

[you can click on photos to enlarge]

inside the layers of this blue box
I have ribbons, thread & some
old scrap papers

I Love the colorful Threads,
I actually want to use the cones
for some Floral Tussie Mussie's
My Oldest Grand ~ She Loves
Creating with her Bubbie
Can you see Little Guy
kneeling on the table to the left,
he thought he was hiding
usually that cabinet is filled with
"Stuff"
it is sitting in boxes waiting to be
put back in...
{maybe a good thing to do tomorrow}
Not a bad view
My Grandmother's Old
Dresser, I keep lots of
"Stuff"
inside

  1. The fact that you have a place to create in and can share the art of crafting with your grands is a wonderful thing. Looks like a terrific space for creativity and chaos. :) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

  2. How wonderful to have a space like that-where you can just leave things out if you want to and not have to pick up and put away at the end of a crafting session.

And, guess what? Crafting with those grandkids is sooo much more important than having a showroom! Love it-and it is great that you have a bit of a view-lots of craft rooms don't have windows! xo Diana

  3. You have a great space and how wonderful to share your passions with the grands. I love that you have so much storage and especially like the metal box and spools. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Cheryl, it looks like a wonderful place to play! That table is great and your Grandmother's dresser, too. Don't appologize for a "working" art room - that's what it's all about, after all.

  5. Love it all, Cheryl. Love the idea of leaving things out for the grands. I use a separate room for that and it's FAB!

    Blessings as you create~

  6. Hello!
I started at the bottom and I am working my way up!!
If your craft room wasn't messy then think of all the memories that you just made in there with you grands that would be missing, right?
Creative spaces are made to be worked in right?/
I actually have the cones without the thread on them that i make Tussie Mussies out of. My Hubby used to work in a Silk mill and they still save all the cones for him!!
Love your music!! My word for 2011 is HAPPY!!

Thanks for sharing! Enjoyed my visit here!!

    Hugs,
    Debbie

  14. Cheryl, I started at the bottom on Thursday, before you had your post up. I've gotten a few post saying they started at the bottom as well, too funny! So I came back, us Z's have to stick together! I remember the post about your turquoise table. Love all the color in your space. Are you going to make the tussie's with the thread on or off the spools? Beautiful colors!
    Susanne.

  24. The room where I create is rarely/never perfect or clean -- I think yours looks pretty organized! That little black cabinet is darling -- as long as it's empty, why not wrap it up and send it over? :-) Thanks for sharing your creative space.
