Greats & Grands

Today I thought I would share one of my favorite
photos,  an enlargement my sister Debby presented
to all of us in the family Christmas 1980,
it hung on the wall for many years, till this last move
6 years ago,  I found it in the closet awhile back & decided
it was time for a face lift on this
Family photo....

My Great Grandfather & Great Grandmother
only 6 years after moving here from Norway in 1903,
My Sweet Gramma that I thank for all
my talents, is standing the lower left....
1909
she was 9 at the time

Before
 After
I decided to paint the frame Black & use
old book print to cover the old matting....

I Love It!

  3. What a treasure you have. I'm so happy to see that you have it out of the closet for everyone to enjoy once again. Great job on the transformation. Your children are adorable all dressed up in their pretend wedding gowns. It was good practice for the gorgeous photo of the real thing. Thanks for sharing and for visiting with me:-)
